Meet Your Local Wills
And Probate Expert
I am a fully qualified solicitor with over 14 years’ experience in private client law. I specialise in helping individuals and families with Wills, Estate Planning, Trusts, Inheritance Tax, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Applications.
As a qualified solicitor I can also assist you with various document services such as the drafting of Statutory Declarations, certifying copies of ID and other documents, swearing Oaths and Statutory Declarations, change of name Deed Poll and by acting as a Certificate Provider for self-drafted Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Unlike traditional law firms, I only act for a small number of clients at any one time so you can always be assured of excellent service.
After working for many years in traditional law firms, I set up my freelance practice to give clients a more personal, flexible - and affordable - alternative.

What is a Freelance Solicitor?
A Freelance Solicitor is a relatively new way of providing legal services, introduced in 2019. It is distinct from the traditional legal services models of Limited Liability Partnerships, Partnerships and Sole Practitioners. I provide advice and services directly as a solicitor, fully regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and with comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance, but without being separately authorised as a "Legal Practice".
My Values
Having worked as a solicitor at firms of across the region I fully appreciate that legal services can be expensive with work being billed based on hefty hourly charge out rates.
As a private client solicitor I have also experienced clients that have tried to find cheaper alternatives but have found unregulated will writers and estate planners to be unreliable or found that they have been persuaded to pay for additional services that turned out to be unnecessary.
I felt that there should be a better way to provide legal services. I have found that a freelance solicitor is a model that lets me provide expert legal advice without the overheads and expenses associated with a traditional legal practice.
I can offer fixed fees for all of the services I provide and, where charging on a time/hourly rate basis may be preferable, I can offer a flat rate of £100 per hour which is less than traditional firms charge for their paralegals and trainee solicitors.
